2023 AGE 5 to 10 SUMMER CLASS OPTIONS
MonOil Painting: Age 5 and up

Composition study, brush techniques, color mixing, and value.



Watercolor: Age 5 and up

Learn the basic tools and techniques. Students are encouraged to explore new method, materials, and styles.



Mixed Media: Age 5 and up – Bookmaking

Draw Vision from another planet… Learn how to make a book with their own characters illustrated on 10 pages in a book and then make ti come alive in to 3D.

Learn acrylic painting techniques with a focus on using color, modeling form, and composition.


Soft Pastel: Age 6 and up

Explore materials and methods that bring the most out of this vibrant medium.


Manga: Age 5 and up

Learn the techniques of easy step-by-step instructions of how to draw Manga.

3D Bug’s Life: Age 5 and up

This is an unique 3 dimensional insect world where different insects co-exist. There are twinkling lights in the background used as lightening bugs at night.


3D Tree Village: Age 5 and up

This village can be a home of the mystical creatures. Build a village situated in the giant tree.


3D Amusement Park: Age 5 and up

Create a fun amusement park where you make all the rides to move, with colorful stores, people, and background.

Thu

Clay: Age 5 and up

Create almost any kind of sculpture. Students follow an easy step-by-step course of instruction or work independently.  Good for all ages.

Fri

Pencil Drawing: Age 5 and up

Draw with different materials using pencil, pen, and color pencils to create value and textures.  Students learn about drawing techniques of pencil shading and how line can be used to create the illusion of depth and dimension.


2023 TEEN SUMMER CLASS OPTIONS
Oil Painting (Ages 11 and up)

This realism class is for beginners who wants to get started or painters who wat to stay involved in an upbeat class. We will work on perspective, color, and form with instruction tailored to the students’ level of knowledge and skill.



Tuition: $250

Watercolor (Ages 11 and up)

Students will feel challenged in this comprehensive class. Lessons cover basic composition and design, color theory, application or both wash and thick layers, and expressive brushwork.

Photorealistic Charcoal Drawing (Ages 11 and up)

Surrealism Learn how to accurately see shape and value, learn how to demonstrate an extraordinary attention to detail and draw in layers of black charcoal on white paper.


Tuition: $250

Mosaics 12″ x 12″ (Ages 11 and up)

Mosaics are made from tiles and other ceramic pieces. Students learn about design transfer, tile selection, piecing, and grouting.

2015 Portfolio 12015 Portfolio 2Portfolio Camp (High School Students only, Chantilly locations only)

Student will create a wide ranging portfolio that displays his/her technical skill and individuality. Especially high school juniors who will be planning on complete their portfolio this summer. Students will talk to Mrs. Yun about class schedule and will review their portfolio first.
